    CF-27 speaker squeal when booting in XP

    Howdy folks;
    I have a CF-27 PIII and when it boots into XP the speaker starts
    to squeal and I have to mute it. Tried everything.......HELP...... :eek:

    Is it a squeal or distortion? I have had them so beat up that the speaker is partially crushed and everything distorts.... If it just sits there and squeals... You may have an issue on the mobo.

    Do the failsafe check first... Unplug from AC, remove battery, let sit, reassemble 10 minutes later and retry...
