New Member, first post, read a million ;-)

first off what a wealth of information this site has with the PTB's cant wait to post things that i can do and have done.

questions, im going to be using the laptop not only for work but for pleasure also, my truck is primary vehicle thats used in the winter for road trips to go skiing. so what better way to combined all the tings i need into one unit.

tom tom is gone, personal laptop for email is gone, dvd player is gone all by one laptop ! i plan to use the laptop to navigate while on road trips as-well as being used for the GirlFriend to watch a few movies on the way to the destination. im a little unsure of the docking plates as their seems to be a few different ones on ebay for sale and i want to ask what you all use to dock yours if you do. the that fact that my gps is not internal, so thats one wire hanging out, the power cord thats another cord hanging around and the external dvd player which i need to change to an internal dvd player but using a dock all the things can be put away out of sight....

any information you may have with regards tot he docks would be great and pictures if you have them !

    thanks all in advance

Welcome to the Toughbook Forum and Toughbook Family. :)

First off, a little info from you will help in answering your questions:

    1) What is your system's Model Number (such as CF-28xxxxxxx)?

    And:

    2) What Make/Model is your truck?
