It depends and I'm not sure if anyone short of a panasonic technician can answer you r question. It's my understanding that the "recovery" CDs have mainly the software that came with the laptop. The software should work on any of the CF-28s. Some of the drivers will work... Some are model specific.

What drivers are you looking for?

sorry the answer is no, the recovery cd for a mk 3 wont work on the mk2 same as drivers if you check panasonic site you see all different drivers for mk3 and mk2 if the recovery cd would have worked you wont need different drivers for different cf-28 models,
anyway am sure mk2 recovery cd will come up on ebay........
also about the toughscreen to get it to work well is not hard at all,
check bios make sure toughscreen is enable,
then in windows download toughscreen/mouse drivers for ur model,
go into device manager click on ur mouse icon and then click update driver go over to the driver you download (if a winrar file extract into folder)click in the folder and thats it toughscreen sorted...........
