    Hi Everyone;
    Lets see, I bought several cf-28's and a couple of them seem to have moisture damage between the outer plastic sheet and the touch screen, so I disassembled it and when i removed the plastic protector some of a bluish coating had transfered to the plastic from the touch screen.
    My question is what is that blue coating, can you reapply the coating?
    is the coating a component of the t.s. itself ?, it comes off pretty easy, can you run it without the coating. Any ideas on how to go about saving these screens ? :confused:

    That blue coating is actually an anti reflective coating
    Common on cf-27's and cf-28 mk-1's
    If you are you installing new scratch sheets it might not be noticeable

    Hi, Thanks, where do you get new scratch sheets, that sure would freshen up the overall appearance.
