I was wondering before I buy a new battery for it or should I try the battery refresh first? If I remember correct I did by an new one after I had bought this unit along with a hard drive. But that has been a few years. So is it even worth the trouble and time to try?

Also I would like to backup my BIOS info with a backup program but I have yet to read the flash screen that pops up on restart quick enough to see what it is. It does start with a A and is a long name if I am seeing it correct. Getting to dag old to read that fast any more :( Do any of you know what it is?

    Thanks

You can certainly try the battery refresh, but your mileage will vary depending on the age of the battery. The CF-28 depending on model had several bios revisions so I can't help you there.

I guess I will see if my wife and read it quicker this evening or might try taking a picture of it like I have done before but took a couple of tries to do it. That was for a pop-up that I was seeing but two quick to read.
