    Halo,
I have a problem with my cardbus A on my CF-28 MK III (1Ghz)
The two slots don't recognize any pcmcia card.
The internal cardbus (B) is working perfect.
And yes the cardbus controller A and B are enabled in bios
Windows hardware manager say they work fine, but when i put a device in its not working (cardbus A, cardbus B is working)
I put 3 different devices in it and non of them works

    Somebody have any idea?

Maybe its a driver issue, because windows show different drivers for A and B
If somebody have a other driver for the A bus (windows XP pro) Let me know please.

    Thanks,

maybe something is physically wrong with the card socket. I found these to be fairly easy to replace on a CF 27, hopefully the same is true on a 28

The two should have different drivers, as they use a different chipset.

When you are in poking around... Double check all internal connections. Something may have come loose.

do you have another pc card socket assembly to put in while you're in there? that would be the direction i'd go with it, if you have it all apart anyway
