Would this be a good replacement drive for a cf-28 800mhz? I haven't recieved the laptop yet from E-bay, but I would like to get a jump on tweaking it. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1597437&CatId=2680

It would make a GREAT drive... But buy it from Newegg.com... You'll love their delivery time AND service in case the unthinkable happens... Just my .02!

pricey, but rugged and should increase your battery life too
if anyone has the cahoonas to put a drive worth as much as the laptop in a '28 i'd like to read about it. -
oh wow, with the fanless cpu heatsink, this would make the lappy stealthy quiet too
DJACID could use the laptop and gps to play some rea manhunt LOL -
i got my new car charger today, which i'll be keeping as a spare, i only paid £10delivered not bad for a brand new charger, i remember when i bought my first one it cost me 35pounds and was secound hand but this was like a year ago.......... -
I LOVE the Solid State drive! I didn't know they went all the way up to 32GB though. I wonder how much faster they are than regular drives. It might be worth it to check out. Talk about shock resistant. That would take just about any abuse short of EMP!

i think its be too much money if there were any bigger in size....
i was wondering myself about the speed but it says
56MB/s read, 32MB/s write speeds
which makes them more like standard drive(ithink).... -
Read on.....

Not much of a difference in speed or battery life say the real life tests... -
welol after reading that,
i have to say its right at the bottom of my christmas list stuff which even if i dont get i wont be too much bother about......
