Some CF-28 models come with a locking power switch (only Mk-1?) but almost never include the key. I just got a pair of matching keys from a guy on eBay for a very reasonable price, they work great. About 250 key numbers are available. You can search for item 170391824328 or PM me for his direct email.

BTW I was able to transfer a lock from a Mk-1 to a Mk-3. The Mk-2 and Mk-3 chassis don't have a necessary hole to install the complete locking assembly with locking bar, but they will accept the lock tumbler and plate to lock out the power switch. Not sure what the extra locking bar and linkage is for ....

    Springfield -

The additional linkage is SUPPOSED to lock the battery door; it can be defeated with a butter knife, so really not very good security.

I had once experimented with this; but once I realized it didn't lock the lid shut, I lost interest... seems foolish to make a laptop with a $100 lock on it but ONLY LOCK THE BLIPPIN POWER SWITCH...
