I've got CF28, and about week ago I've noticed problems with system clock. When I leave my notebook in car for a night, the clock slows down (or stops ??). It's sometimes 6 hours difference in the morning;] Ofcourse it's connected with outside temperature (bellow 0°F (-18°C)). When operating in normal temp. everything is OK.
What could be wrong? The battery holds charge. Where is the battery that supports BIOS memory? What else can I try?

It sounds like your BIOS battery is going. The BIOS battery is on top of the motherboard in the back to the left of center. You will need to split the case halves to change it.
Makes me want to put one of mine in the freezer to see what happens! -
Lol, that could be an interesting experiment.
Changing the battery is a piece of cake. If you need/want help, let us know. -
OK, thanks. I hope it will solve the problem ;] I'll try it next week. (now I've got some exams in school, usb GPS that stopped working, and modded pcimcia to usb2.0 card (also stopped working, it was built into my cf 28 ;])

Did they all stop working at the same time?
