    Hello,
A work CF-29 Toughbook screen went down today and it appears to be the LCD inverter board. My question is are the inverter boards interchangeable between the CF-28 and CF-29? Does anyone here have one for a CF-29 for sale?
    Thanks again so much,

    Kevin

Hi! before you look a new inverter try to inspect the solder between the bus bar and the pcb board coz overtime it loosen due to heat. It a wire about 5mm in length and usually glued to a bus bar( a rectangular shape attached to the pcb board with black color ). You can see it its like nothing loose coz as I said its glued but the solder are capot( terms I used to call when solder is open, Zeta). We are talking about here the inverter itself. But be careful this bus bar is easy to break.
