Hello all
We have several CF-29HTQGZBM (Mark3) and I'm trying to figure out a docking station problem. I have been told by a few people that this model will not work in a CF-WEB273 it has to be a CF-WEB2732. Is this true? If it is why will it not work?
Also is it possible to add an internal wwan modem into these models? They do not already have it but I found the antennas that go on the monitor and some wwan cards I just didnt know if it was possible.

The answer to the first question is, no it will not work
I know the last digit stands for usb2,that might be the issue as the cf-29's are all usb2
Reported by Rob is this thread

Why wouldn't it work? They all have the same pinouts from the CF-27 to the CF-30 In fact I have a CF-30 on a desktop dock designed for the CF-27 even the PS2 ports work. There is a lot of misinformation on this site so the best thing to do is try it yourself.

I have a couple of docks that I have bought over the years that have not worked for the more current models
Hopefully Rob will post and give us a hint on why it didn't work
tough-2-go ,you have more experience on the docking stations than any of us here
Do you think it will work based on your experience?
I found conflicting info from sellers on eBay as well

We also have a PDRC that is permanently connected to a WEB273 this is a test station and we frequently dock CF-27's CF-28's all versions of the CF-29 and the CF-30 and all ports work without a hitch. So yes I can say that they are all compatible and interchangeable. I think Rob just got a bad one.
