I hate to start a new thread, but I need a schematic for the MKV series.

Looks like I have killed the PWM signal to the CFL inverter board.

The latest schematic I can find is for the E series, and comparing it to the C series schematic available on toughbook wiki, the circuitry controlling the inverter board is different.

I am not sure if the E series may be the same as the m/n series or not, but life would be easier with the correct model schematics.

    Any help would be appreciated.

F4,F5,F6, all of which are by the CN9 connector all test fine.

Scoping the signal that feeds the inverter board, shows a dead signal.

I think you will find that all anyone has is up to MK4... Not sure anyone has the MK5 schematics.

They are very similar... Let us know of you want MK4

Thanks toughbook, I do have those and for the most part, they are the same as the MK5 in the area of the back light circuitry.
