OK, dumb question. I just installed the emissive KB in my 29, no sweat. However, pressing Fn-F12 results on the backlight flashing and not staying on - what the heck am I doing wrong? They will stay on as long as I keep F12 pressed, but this is less than useless, ya know? Thanks.

EDIT: Forget it - I rebooted a few times and suddenly they work OK now. Weird.

make sure the gold cable you have the connectors facing towards you. fold it over once back towards you then insert it.

Yup... Make sure the smallest ribbon cable on the right , top side is folded under with the gold contacts facing upwards. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

    ISSUE RESOLVED.

Thanks for the input - I did know about the cable (actually, if you look at the cables, it *has* to be flipped or they will not sit flat).

If you look at my first post, I resolved it with a couple reboots.
