So I decided to upgrade the WiFI in muy cf29 from the included Intel 2200 B card to the 2915 ABG card. Everthing worked fine, and i started it up once while the laptop was open to make sure it works, it was fine, then i closed her up and started it again. Now it says Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller on Mother Board Bus:01, Device:01, Function:00. on the POST Screen. Any clue what is causing this and btw I alrealy tried to reset biso defaults, no luck and then tried to remove the DVD and HD and disable anything other devices excet the touch pad and touch screen and still no luck.
    Thanks,
    Ty

All right that should be ok I was hoping you didnt do it long as those chips down there will become super super hot and can cause them to overheat and die without a heatsink on them.

Its on the Bios Startup Screen, it ask if I want to go to setup or resume. In windows it finds th device, and installs drivers, however it says there is a problem with the device.

Well it is trying to use a resource that something else is using. I am not sure how to change the resources for the wlan card.

Under the device manager for my card the resources are :

    Memory range: E0200000 - E020FFFF
    IRQ: 09

    What does yours read?

Interesting, so i got a bit bored and frustrated and decided to try and reseat the card just incase that would do anything, it did. :D It works fine now and the IRQ and Memory match yours. All is well, funny how reseating the card fixed the issue.
    Anyways thanks for the help,
