Got myself a mk2 WWAN model to strip and put into my mk4.

HOLY CRAP that's a lot of screws. It took me 3 hours, and all I have done is put the carrier and sled into my mk4. I still have to move the lid antenna over.

Can someone tell me how to get to the pass-through connector? I've disconnected the u.FL connector on the bottom but I can't seem to find how to get to the OTHER (top) side of the pass-through in order to disconnect the u.FL that comes from the lid antenna.

Also, the WWAN I have is an SB555 EVDO Rev. 0 module. But looking at Rob's CF-30 WWAN card ( http://www.robsnetworks.com/toughbook/CF-30 WWAN Pictures (Sprint revA)/Photo_070808_004.jpg) .. the sled connectors look exactly the same!!? Has anyone tried to put an older sled into the newer miniPCIe card or vice versa? Orrr... does anyone have a spare/junk one I can try? I have the miniPCIe card, I just need the sled! (Heartland wants $168 + shipping)

And for those who (like me) thought about ordering parts to make the contraption, forget it. There are literally over 100 parts to order, and without seeing how Panasonic routed the ribbon cables, it would be near impossible without breaking/tearing something.

Well hope all goes well. I was going to add WWAN to my TB but decided not to after looking at the parts breakdown and seeing that there are just so many parts you need. I picked up a model with it already installed.
