I was looking at a CF-29 on ebay and the seller had a picture of the notebook from the very top, looking down at the retractable antenna. My question is this: The antenna appears to be aftermarket, like it isn't a factory installation. The top of the antenna base is not built-in as I would expect but protrudes from the case is attached by two screws. Anyway, maybe this is a factory install but it looks so much like an add-on by somebody, just not sure. Does anyone have a picture of the antenna casing of a factory installation on a CF-29? If possible, a picture taken down on the antenna would be great. Thanks,

Without seeing the picture I couldn't say but that does sound like the factory antenna. The case is set up to have an antenna added on later if one so chose which is probably why it looks like an add-on.

Yep, I believe you're correct. I found another pic that appears to have the same setup; looks like an add-on but is original. Thanks for the response.
