    I need some advice olease....
My 29 mk4 was running great in the hotel room, I it down and put it in my pelican briefcase, and while walking to the car, the briefcase fell off my luggage.

Now the charge light doesn't come on orange or green and xp says its running on ac no matter what combination of battery and/or charger I use, including a web273 dock.
In bios and xp, the lcd backlight will increase or decrease brightness when plugging or unplugging the charger. while in bios with no drives, the battery light will flash red, I'm assuming because the battery is dead.

I removed the drives and ram, and also took the bottom off to inspect for loose wires/connections and came up with bupkiss. I've even reset the bios to defaults AND left it with ko power/battery over night.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to diagnose how to fix it?

I dripped a toughbook in a pelican case and broke it....?

I was going to suggest the charger socket on the cf29, but if it does it in the dock too, that kind of eliminates that problem...
Next guess is a mb fuse.

Could someone please post a link to the schematic?

I've checked the Faq, toughbook thread, searched the site with google, the toughwiki, and a few other places. The only source I could find for the schematic (I have the service manuals already) is modly's site, which is no longer a thing....

    TIA!

THANK YOU! (*edit: dropbox is being cranky right now. I'll have to try to get it again, later)

I need my TB for work, so I swapped everything into an mk2 I had, and shelfed the MK4. I'm looking forward to getting everything back in order...
