    Not to frustrate you even more... But I sure wish you could have gotten that card going so we could have a valid comparison! :eek:

    I thought about switching the wifi card in mine... But the stock one is so dang good. It seems to pull in just about as good as my 28s with the external antenna!

    The engenius card (in the 29 mk1) pulls in a far better signal than the stock intel 802.11 b card that came with it. I put that intel card in my 28 with dual antenna (one internal and one external) The OS is loading now and I should know more tomorrow about comparision. But Im very pleased with my signal now...I walked down the street away from the house and was still pulling a great signal through these adobe walls.
