    Ok,
So I have a client with the backlit keyboard installed and windows 7 (which is besides the point) but whenever you hit the hotkey combination to turn the lights on for the keyboard, it only lights up as long as you hold down the hotkeys for it.

    It doesn't toggle...

    ANy ideas?

Did it ever work properly? Check the 3rd cable for proper installation.

I've got 2 that work with Win7, no problem. Though the operating system shouldn't matter.

Is the flat cable plugged in backwards?
