it sounds like you have a gprs or a cingular edge modem.
your sim card should fit into the slot.
how ever. you may also have an sb555 modem. take a pic of the cover above the batt. and a pic of the bottom of the unit.
i can tell you have a 29 mark 4, and it does not have a touchscreen.
any farther than that and i am unsure. -
the site listed does not recognise my model, maybe it was special order....
the gsm module sits above the battery, device manager detects as MC75, I have been unable to locate device drivers. there is an antenna that can be raised from the screen lid, a panel to the left of the handle has the symbol of power,mail and an antenna symbol. -
L = mk4
3 = not touchscreen
Q = 60 gb
7 = ?
1 = ?
B = WinXP SP 2
E = UK keyboard
I could guess what the 7 and 1 are but I'd rather be sure since it's a pretty wild guess right now. They refer to wireless capabilities.
edit: I'm pretty sure MC75 is a GPRS modem. -
you will need to find the drivers from panasonic for the modem. -
When the configurator won't take your model number automatically.... Put it in manually and it will work!
CF-29 config please...
