I've been scoring the forum trying to figure this out, but to no avail.
For whatever reason, I can't get the hotkeys to work. I downloaded the drivers to the utility folder, downloaded the app and appendix, and tried to get the Device Manager to recognize I had a new driver. It didn't.
So I went into BIOS to see if hotkeys was enabled. Hotkeys wasn't an option in any of the folders.
What did I do wrong? What step did I screw up or skip?

Hotkeys shows up in device manager as an unknown device
In device manager you update drivers for the unknown device and direct it to the hotkey driver

I found it named as Hotkey Driver for Panasonic PC under System Devices. Despite this fact, they still won't work on my computer. Is there a way to enable them, since my system recognizes them?
Is there a more recent edition than 2003? -
When you press the Fn key + F1 or F2 the screen backlite will not increase?

And could you post a screen shot of your Device Manager please.

Yea, sometimes the elders in this forum take for granted that not everyone has the wiring schematic of every TB ever made imprinted in their memory. Old farts like me and most of the newbies/semi-newbies have still got a lot to learn. Besides, for the most part, their bark is far worse than their bite....although there is this one pesky dwagon you need to watch out for.......I can still feel those sharp toenails as they swatted my behind! (Clickity, clickity...oh my, here he comes now, run children!)
