    Hi guys.
I've had my CF-29 1.2GHz for a few months now and it developed an issue last week after getting wet during a storm. Something is wrong with the keyboard I think. Keys 2,3,4, FN, num lock and scroll lock are dead. I took it apart and reseated the ribbon cables but it had no effect. Should I get a new keyboard or is the adapter card or mobo damaged? Anyone know where I can get one cheap or is there a free fix?
    Thanks

I have a working CF-29 keyboard missing a "K" key. Its yours for 10 bucks + shipping USPS Priority. Send me a PM.

You can just replace the missing key from your broken board

That's a GREAT offer and one you should take... The keys just pop off.

Your keyboard died.... Not sure if it was the water as I have seen them flooded and keep working... But I have run across keyboards with a select group of keys that are dead.... Replace it.

    h3lpmedic: PM sent, thanks

Toughbook: Thanks for the advice, I wanted to make sure that was the issue before buying the wrong parts (again)
