I have searched and searched before asking this. I have just installed PC-2700 1GB RAM on my CF-29CQKGJKM well i'm not getting the 333mhz speed only getting 167mhz and guess this is because of the onboard 246mb. why say it will support pc-2700 if it really won't support the speed of it? looked on youtube the only thing i can find is CF-18 and CF-31 onboard memory upgrading and both them show its under a hidden black cover on the motherboard that is easy to replace. is the same thing with the CF-29 can't find any videos or information about the CF-29. is there anyway to get my 333mhz speed?

Your unit is working correctly. DDR means Double Data Rate, which pumps data to/from memory on both rising and falling clock edges. So a 167 MHz clock gives it double the clock speed, or 333 MHz data transfer speed.

Fort more memory speed and timing info see Wikipedia: DDR SDRAM - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
