I'm looking to buy a CF-29 from ebay. I've come across a couple and found one for a really good deal. The only problem with it is that they say the touch screen won't work and it's not a driver issue. Now the question is could I buy a CF-29 without a touch screen and install one myself? Even if it never came with one from the factory?

Clayton, Yes you can install a touchscreen easily into a non-touch model. All you would need is a touchscreen and the touchscreen pcb.

When they say the touchscreen wont work, and its not a driver issue, they mean its a faulty touchscreen.
