So whenever I put my road warrior CF-29C into standby (about 10 times a day as I'm coming and going from my truck), when I pull it back up again the brightness on the rubber keyboard resets back to the brightness level of 1... and I have to adjust it to 3 every time (Because I want it as bright as it goes).

    Thoughts?

Other than the fact that the screen is DISMAL on this OLD unit it works GREAT!

My first thought is what is the default setting in the Power Settings?

You can't adjust the settings for the keyboard within windows... it's a hardware thing...

Opss.... My Bad, I missed keyboard. My next thought is in standby the hardware is shut down, and restarted when started back up, that would reset the brightness level, I'm thinking...... May be faulty thinking, but I'm thinking  JohnP
