First off, thanks to all the folks here who post their findings and advice.

I bought this CF-29H for a basher box, weekend get-aways with RC hobbies in mind.
So I could carry movies and program RC toys as well as grab the satellites.
Here are the basics specs as I bought it used.
    Specs:
    1.4 ghz processor
    60 gig Harddrive
    1.25 gig of Ram
    Windows 7 Ultimate OS
    Touchscreen
    Chicklet backlit keyboard
    Built in Verizon air card
The previous owner was probably less geeky than me and failed to get it preforming to it's capabilities. The touchscreen doesn't work, it sees touch and bounces the curser but doesn't have any drivers (cause there are none). The chip set doesn't support the OS very well.
Anyway, I plan on building this TB up to as much fun as I could.
Dual boot Ubuntu 10.10 and XP, possibly a third just cuz I love Linux Mint 10 and would like to experiment with it.
Thanks to Liamw652 with his post on adapting a Sata drive I was able to get a Seagate 750g, 16m cache HDD to show up in bios.
Next is Gork's thread on Ubuntu 10.10 with touchscreen configs.

Hopefully the touchscreen is not working because of the W7 Ult OS and the fact that there are no drivers for it. I know that the XP drivers should work but I could find any that would with this box.
Working on the Linux Ubuntu 10.10 distro and tweaks to check if it will work.
