not sure what this device is or what driver I would need to fix this. I have all the required drivers for this model and have installed them all one by one with restarts after each one. I have gone through and checked if there are any that I have missed and all are accounted for. any help will be greatly appreciated, feel free to ask any additional questions of me.

can you please post the complete model no. or did you install the hotkey driver correctly?

CF-29LQQ27BM, I installed the hkeyapp driver, then the hkeyset, then the hotkey driver. I still cannot use the FN key and as I stated above don't know what that"unkown device is. also the touchscreen worked great before the fresh install and now it does not work. there is no option to calibrate it under Mouse pointer options.

You have to update in device manager, point to UTIL in programs on drive C
The mouse driver and the hotkey driver do not install themselves
It is all stated in the CF-29 FAQ, i suggest to read that first -
Had the same problem myself... -

thank you all for the responses to my posting. I will give it all a try when I have a chance. now I also have a CF-30C3P26BM and this one under Device management has a yellow exclamation mark for SMBUS Controller. can anyone guide me on how to fix that please. I have searched on the forum and cannot find the information I need.
