I have been searching the forum and I can't find the answer that I need. is there a specific order that I need to be installing the drivers after a fresh Windows 7 or XP pro installation. I have all the drivers for it on a usb drive just would like to know the order they go in.

XP Pro I do it the following way: (BTW, you DON'T need to reboot 1000 times... Just install all the drivers and then reboot at the end)...
1) Run the Audio setup.exe file to install the audio drivers
2) Run the Setup.exe for the Intel Video drivers
3) Now go to device manager and go to the mouse properties and update that driver for the touchscreen/touchpad drivers (point the driver update wizard to the folder where you extracted the touchscreen drivers and pull it from there)
4) Now find the "unknown device" and install this driver from the hotkey folder.
5) Last but not least find the modem and use windows update to get this driver (make sure you are connected to the introwebs of coarse!)
6) Reboot!
7) Grab a beer
8) Go into the mouse properties and go to the touchscreen tab and click on "calibrate" - calibrate the screen
9) Enjoy! -
thank you for replying to my post. I don't want to sound ungrateful but I think that I will need a more specific list than just the three drivers that you ahve on that list. although that was a good start there are like 10 more drivers that need to be installed to make everything work. I know that the amount of drivers that need to be installed are specific to which model you have.

Go to the Canadian site for drivers:
http://panasonic.ca/english/customercare/sandd/softwarequery.asp
Instruction sheet for installing them is attached.
Do BIOS first (only if you need it), then the Intel chipset driver. After that it does not seem to matter much but I like to do the video and sound sooner, and hotkeys at the end.Attached Files:

With Windows 7 all drivers installed naively except my network card and the hotkeys. Be sure to run Windows Update till it can find no more updates.
Then use the OEM XP hotkey driver to enable your hotkeys, it will show up as an "Unknown Device."
If you have a Touchscreen model, I am unsure of which driver to use for that, but it has already been done! -
I'm sorry man! Actually, yeah, if you use a normal XP Pro disc then you will have like 10 more... I don't know what to tell you as I don't have those normal discs. I have nice OEM XP Pro discs that my employee has made that has TONS of drivers slip streamed into the disc... I didn't think of that last night when I posted that response... If you want, for $5 I'll ship you that OEM XP Pro disc that I use that works WONDERS for me!

thanks to all who replied and everything is working the way it should now. problem is solved. I am glad to be a part of a forum where it's members actually take the time to try and help instead filling the threads with alot of non-sense and sarcasm. JB007Rules it is ok man I kind of knew what you were refering to and at this moment I will be attempting to an XP pro disc of my own to avoid this hassle in the future.
