I apoligize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't find it any of the FAQs or searches and the unoffical thread made my eyes glaze over about halfway though.

I have a CF-29P (Mk5) I just installed windows 7 on it because well i can. Is there a guide on how to get the touch screen to be recognized by windows? That is one of the main reasons I got it and it is kinda annoying. I have tried downloading the CF-30 driver but it says it isn't compatable, and won't extract the files. I figure it has been touched on some where but all the treads i can find go back to video drivers and never clear the touch pad.

You may have to extract the driver package in vista compatibility mode. Or extract on another machine and copy the folder over the cf29.

On my 29, mk3 the touchscreen did not show as unknown device and there was nothing under the mice & pointing devices hardware indicating a touchscreen.

The only way I could get it to install was to expand mice and pointing devices and update the mouse driver with the extracted touchscreen drivers. It accepted and installed with no problems.

Some have reported the touchscreen does show as "unknown device" before drive install, in my case it did not. Perhaps it depends on which mk version.
The only unknown device for me were for the hotkeys.

Once you get 7 all set it should run like a top.
    Enjoy,
    K

OK I got all the drivers installed but I am still running into the same wall. I can't seem to get window to recognize the touch screen as such. So I can't turn on the tablet fuctions anyone know how to do this I still can't find it listed anywhere. This is frustrating because I love windows 7 and don't want to have to downgrade just for tablet software.
