ok ....going with what i know works , i would like to flash the bios in this '30 i am building back to a/the vista bios .
i believe it has been bumped to W7 .
    current versions installed :
    bios : V2.00L15
    EC : V2.00L14

as far as it goes (and wishing to avoid a pooched machine - cooler heads shall prevail) ... all i should have to do is flash the bios with the correct versions for vista on a '30 MK1/C-D ?
also ... i believe that TB gave me the link to the correct bios and it was different from the one at the panasonic site ... i will look back through the threads and try to find it .

You have a Mk2. There is no bios downgrade or upgrade. You have the current bios which works with XP, Vista or W7.
