Just wondering if anyone has any idea on how to set up the batteries on windows 7 so it would use the main battery first and then the media battery? It would be handy to deplete the main battery first and yank it out to install a new main battery while the media battery takes over for awhile. thanks

Pretty sure that is controlled by the bios.
A bios edit and reflash would be needed.

Yup... Controlled by the BIOS... Edit at your own risk.

    (But I get your drift!)

I was hoping it was just a hidden menu item i didn't find. Would make a great feature being able to hot swap in another main battery without a power down. I wont be going near the BIOS anyway! Thanks for the info though guys

If I recall, the 31 will run on the media battery alone while you swap main batteries.
