    Hi folks,
I've just screwed up the video driver of my CF-30...
I was trying to update the video card driver (intel 965) of the laptop because I was getting errors from a program related to the driver version... So I tried to install the last version available from Intel, even if I was getting the advice that the driver was not from the manufactured of the computer, blah blah blah...
Well, the driver worked, but I have lost the function key to regulate the brightness.
So I went back to the original driver (at least, I think it is the original driver...), and the function key still not working.
    Now I need help.

Could someone please give me the links to the
    - correct video driver for the CF30 (I'm running win7 32bits, Vista stuffs usually are ok)
    - installers to get the brightness function keys back to work
    - right procedure to install the function keys

    ???

When I got the laptop, those keys were not working, doing the same that they are doing now (the blue square pops out, the brightness changes by one step and immediately goes back as before). I was able to get it working, but know I'm lost... Could someone help please? Thanks!

Reinstall the drivers from the Panasonic site. Yes they're out of date but they're the ONLY ones that work properly.

Yup... You need to install the original video drivers and hotkey drivers/apps. You WILL get a BSOD once during the installation of the video after it warns you that you are trying to install and older version. Let it reboot and install it again. It will work and then you can install the driver then app/settings.

Niiiiiice... I don't know why it is always SO damn complicated to have these function keys working on any laptop, also with my Sony it was a nightmare.
I will try to do as you suggests, thanks!
