I am working on a CF-30 and ran into something that I would think you could set.
In testing, I could get the CF-30 with internal GPS working just fine. However, when I returned it to the police department, they were going to test the GPS with the software we use, but noticed something. When the CF-30 is placed in the docking station, it "turns off" the internal GPS, and requires an external antenna to work (so I'm told.) The department wasn't too thrilled to hear that they need to buy more equipment.
Does anybody know if there is a setting to allow the internal GPS to continue to run when on a docking station?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, in the BIOS. When docked, by default it switches any antenna connected to the pass-through to external only. The Docking Port option in the BIOS allows you to keep the internal on regardless of whether it's docked or not. I can't remember the exact name of the category but it's there. I've had to change it around a few times.

Thanks Zero!
I did look into the BIOS, and I did find the "Wireless WAN Antenna" setting, which can be Default or PC. Default being when it's docked the external antenna is used.
Would this be the setting I'm looking for? I wasn't sure if it was, since it is for the WAN Antenna.
I'm hoping to get to the PD to test it this week.
Thanks again! -
Yeah, that's the one.
