I just bought a CF-30CASLXBM on eBay after my CF-29 bit the dust. I'll be working to fix the CF-29 over the next few weeks, but I want to set up my CF-30 for now.
Everything seems to be working so far except for the GPS. The GPS is set to "On" in the BIOS and the Device Manager in WinXP (SP3) does not show any unknown devices, so I'm assuming that the right drivers are installed.
However, Microsoft Streets & Trips 2011 does not show any active GPS devices on any of the COM ports. I've tried changing the IRQs around in the BIOS but I'm not getting any results no matter what I try. After researching around the forum, I've also tried applying some registry fixes from the Panasonic site, to no avail.
What should I try next?
Thanks!

Same advice as I always give:::
Go into BIOS, set the com ports and GPS to AUTO.
Start up to windows, in device manager REMOVE all the com ports and then turn off and restart.
Windows will "find" the com ports and set them up.
GPS should be on com 3.
