Several questions about the CF-30, please?

A local Georgia guy has for sale 10 CF-30's removed from service.

    > CF-30CTQAZBM
    > Intel Core Duo L2400 1.66GHz (Centrino) 13.3" Touch XGA 512MB 80GB
    > Intel 802.11a/b/g WinXP TPM1.2 Bluetooth No Optical

What is the going price for a used CF-30 w/o the cd-rom caddy?

What is the cost and availability of the cd-rom caddy's?

    Thanks!

EDIT: He just posted an asking price of $640. each. Ouch!

    Doc,

A good price is what makes you both happy. You need to look at overall condition and options... Then look on ebay and other Craigslist listing to compare... But if you are running puppy linux on a CF-30 it would be a waste of money IMHO...

    Good point!

They have just created a version of Puppy that uses apps from Slackware, in addition to the version that draws from Ubuntu.

One can do amazing things with the tiny Puppy OS these days!

    Have fun ...
