Hello All,
Had a question about the CF-30 and the emissive backlit keyboard. I wanted to get this for my CF-30 and it finally arrived. It fit perfectly where the old keyboard was with one big difference. The old keyboard has four "lugs" on the bottom of it that fit into the computer and keep if from sliding around. The new emissive keyboard does not have the "lugs" and, while it fits great and all the connectors line up, it slides around the area it is placed into.![]()
My question is thus: Is there a way to take the "lug backing" off the original keyboard and put it on the new one or is there a way to get a separate "lug backing" to make it fit more tightly in the space provided? Any help or answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

On the 28's and 29's they used double sided tape to keep the keyboard in place, maybe you can do the same on the cf-30.

Short answer is no, don't try to move the lug backing from the one to the emissive. The emissive should have something like 4 strips of tape along the edges already. If it doesn't, just to what 2-go said and put some on yourself.
