I have a CF-30CCSANBM that had a ATT WWAN card and wanted to switch to a gobi card so I would have a choice in carriers. I bought a GOBI 1000 UN2400 and tried that but could not get it to work.I thought it might be locked to ATT also as it came with a ATT sim.So I bought another a GOBI 2000 Hp UN2420 but cannot get that to work either. It is not reconized in BIOS unless I set the sled to hpsda on the DIP switches.I tried a few DIP choices but struck out.Am I out of luck? Will this cost me more money?
I also updated the BIOS for the win7 install, tried the WWAN switching utility and tried the CSA utility, I get the no GOBI found. It does appear in the Device manager as other device found with the sled set to HPSDA
I did read thru some of the threads but I am still lost. If the sled is set to undp1 there is no wwan card found in bios.I set it back to hdspa and it is found in bios and devices but not found by panasonic's CSA
Thanks for any help or Ideas.

You may have a problem. Gobi was never supported on the CF-30 Mk1. Did you buy a genuine Panasonic Gobi 1000 card? Do you have the latest Bios and EC?
For XP: http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/download/file/011545/s/05400ae625da78d7/bios_30_1_r080014.exe
For Vista and, unofficially, Win 7:

The dip switches should be set to 1,2=on and 3,4=off for UNDP1.
