    Good luck
I don't think we have any factory BIOS upgrades for a mk2.

Welcome to the Panasonic Toughbook forum
Panasonic never released another BIOS for the 30MK2. Only one they did for the 30 was the MK1 and that was for the Vista/W7 update.

So are the ones on my machine the correct original ones then ?

    BIOS = V2.00L14
    Embedded Controller = V2.00L11

The CF30 mk1 is the only mk that require a different BIOS for different OS's
A CF30 mk2 and CF30 mk3 will work fine with any BIOS and any OS combination.

The only updated bios is V2.00L15, ec V2.00L14

The only purpose of the update, that I am aware of, is to enable the use of a Gobi card.

The update was not widely released. It is not an .exe file run from within Windows.

I might be picking your brains then as I'm completely new to Toughbooks and will be setting up / upgrading a CF-30F3SAXAM. First thing I need to find is a new top cover as this one has cracked.

I'll probably start my own thread though when I start.

    picture of cracked cover .
yeppers ... it is a good idea to start a new thread when you get after setting the machine up .

    bonus !
these machines have a high magnesium content aluminum alloy case .
take a piece of your old busted case and heat it up with a propane or mapp gas torch ...
    wheeeeee !

MAC address should be on the WWAN card not the BIOS.
