    CF-30 Mk3 not recognizing novatel expedite modem

    I've been wanting to upgrade to a C-31 Mk4 or Mk5....but between the kids and the vehicles it just hasn't happened yet. So, here we go. I'm abusing a CF-30KCP542M running WIN7 PRO. It has a 1TB hdd, EU860D wwan card, GPS, DVDRW, FPR, and so on. A couple of months back, my HDD crashed. I bought a pre loaded replacement online. Everything works with the exception of my wireless modem. It's not even recognized in the device manager. Someone please tell me where I screwed up! Tired of using my hotspot on my phone.

    Preloaded with CF 30 specific win 7 and drivers?
    Usually the WWAN card software needs to be loaded separately.
    WWAN card software is not included in a recovery image.

    Loaded what was needed. Now my AT&T connection manager reads the modem. It has perfect signal. Goes to connect and falls short, showing error 668. Connection terminated by remote computer.

    Tried everything I found on this forum. To no avail. So I bit the bullet and procured a CF-31 Mk2 with win7 32bit, gps, gobi, 500 GB hdd, and 4 GB of memory. I am so glad I did as I really enjoy this machine.
