CF-30 OEM GPS chip NOT working in ANY CF-19's I have! (But the 19 chips WILL work in the 30's)
GAH! WHAT GIVES!!???
I can't tell what the difference is other than the antenna (which I DO HAVE an antenna for the 19).
Any ideas??
P.S, I've tried about 8 different GPS chips (both Leadtek & Sony) to NO AVAIL!

What marks are you trying them on? Without personal experience, I believe the sets are different between the Mark 1-2 and the Mark 3 -4. I just got a CF-19(Mk 1) and while I would like to play with GPS on mine, I can't afford the prices I am seeing for them. I got my CF-19 off eBay for less than $400 with a total of 730 hours on it and cosmetically, in A- condition. The only problem is the screen protector being very worn. No probem as I have one sitting here to go on it. The seller said he couldn't get the touchscreen to work. It was only missing drivers. This thing is great. I guess it is time to sell my CF-18.

Mark 1 to 2, mark 2 to 1... doesn't matter. Nothing

Rob! you need to change the flat cable ribbon. It will be reverse on CF-19. I thought you knew this already. I have multiple post about this about a year ago.
