    Hello!
I'm trying to configure my CF-30 to wake up on lan.
I have enabled the function in the BIOS, power management and card properties. I have configured the router to send the packet to the PC (as indicated in some guides, but I don't really understand the meaning since with the PC off it should have no IP but just answering to broadcast communications... anyway... I tried also that), and tried using also the build-in WoL function inside the router, but nothing, it does not work. When the PC is on, the packet is received, as indicated by the sniffer.
So, I have noticed a strange thing. When the CF-30 shuts down, the light on the LAN port on the router shuts also down, like if I disconnect the cable. I was expecting to see it on, as if the link were active.
The card is a Marvell 88e8055 and it should indeed support the WoL functionality.
    Does someone have any idea?

Idea - you have to use MAC, not IP address.

Thanks for the suggestions! I found the issue: old driver. Checking on internet, I saw an option on the device properties that I wasn't seeing in my PC: wake on shutdown. I have installed the last version of the drivers, enabled the option and now the light on the router stays on even with the PC off.
I have been able to wake the PC up from within my LAN, but the packed does not get through my Netgear router when coming from WAN. It seems that these routers do not support NAT broadcast and the magic packet cannot get through... Well, I will keep trying it.
