I see the slot for the additional one but where is the first one? Once again, I am new to this and appreciate the help. Best buy has Kingston 2 gig cards on sale for $35.00. The ad says $105.00 off of regular price.

    Grif,
The CF-30 cards stack on top of each other.

So is it correct to say there are 2 empty slots from the factory or only 1?
I added a card that I had from another PC last night. It is only 512 mb. which gives me 1.5 G of RAM. I am trying to get to 2 or better. In task manager there seems to be a awful lot of processes going on here. Like 800 - 900 worth with not too much running. From other posts, I understand Vista is responsible for a lot of this memory usage

There are 2 slots. You might have to remove a cover of some sort, I've only been in there once and I'm typing on it now. I have two 2gb sticks in this one . Shows up in device manager as 3.24gb

Thank you for the quick response. Do you think the Kingston cards are ok to put in these machines? If so, I am going to run over to Best Buy to pick 2 up

I took out 2 Crucial 1gb sticks and put in 2 Kingston KVR667D2K2S0/4GR.
PC2-5300, 667mhz, DDR2. I always choose Kingston if possible. I think I paid about $70 for the pair.
