I have a CF-30FCSRCAM and the WiFi has been slowly failing. At first, it would drop IP addresses, and then log back on. Then I'd have to plug in a hardwire network cable, and remove it - wireless would work for a while. Now, nothing - it is no longer obtaining IP addresses. Signals are good, networks are located, but it wont lock an address. REloaded drivers - OK. Checked Bios - OK. Ran boot-up Pani diagnostics - everything OK. Talked to Pani tech, and after they tried many attempts, they said to just send it in for repair / replacement.
My issue right now is time - I need it next week for a business trip, and Pani says it'll take 1-2 weeks...so, is there another WiFi card I can replace the OE one with that will work for now ? I heard rumors that the factory one is just a standard Intel WiFi module, and that any would work...but I don't want to screw things up with a mismatched card...

I remember the WiFi was on the left side GPS sled on the CF-29...The sled on the CF-30 looks like it's for the WWAN only...so is the WiFi mini-pci mounted on the board inside ?
