    Anyone know if one of the 1TB 2.5" HDDs fit in the HD caddy of a CF-30?
    They are 12.5mm thick!

    Should work OK with minor modification , the cf-30 caddy is fairly large
    The heater won't completely cover it ,and you might have to modify the pads

    the foam pads will definitely give to fit a 12.5mm drive... but the heater won't as it's shaped for 9.5mm. I don't usually like bending ribbon cables (or ribbon heater cables) as they tend to break. But who knows....
