Just wondering if you did all the Microsoft updates , what are you running...XP SP1, SP2 or SP3 .
-
You say, "You just found out it wasn't working." Was it working before? Do you know for sure? You may need to crack open the bottom plate and make sure it is there... And connected.

Jozko,
I also have a couple of Mk3s ending in ...2B. Any particular reason you're staying with XP? Since yours ends in ...B, Heartland Services will sell you a Win7 restore disk for $35(which includes next-day shipping). Just make sure you have the right BIOS (ver 23) and EC Controller (ver 18) installed. The restore disk installs Microsoft BT Driver and Enumerator ver. 6.1.7601.7889 and all seems to work well. It is possible in the downgrade/reinstall/troubleshoot process you ended up with an incorrect BIOS/EC. In any case, you have probably the best of the 30 Mk3s (certainly one of the latest) - why not take advantage of it and go to Win7 - MS is supporting it for another 5 years!
Good luck. -

Ok,first think I did after I found out problem took out bluetooth module from under keyboard then I pluged it in other toughbook mk2 with good working bluetooth and there its working fine.
My toughbook came with both XP and Win7 but I can't use Win7 because it have problem with serial port which I need for work, so I'm stuck with XP.
My BIOS version is V3.01L23 . Can someone check pls if Bluetooth option should be in BIOS . Thx guys -
I'd check to see if the BT card is connected properly. As above, it is under the key board and under the larger silver plate. Make sure your ToughBook is unplugged, and hard drive & battery removed also.
If it is NOT connected properly, it will NOT show up in Bios.

I checked connections, everything look good. Also I tried module from other Toughbook and its also not recognized. Could it be motherboard? or missing driver?

The drivers have nothing to do with the BIOS...Here's a DUMB question...Did you put the cable back in, in the correct direction?

You need to install this file in order to recognize the Bluetooth on the bios(bscbluet\bscbluet.exe). There are some specific model that need this. It also happening on certain model of CF-19MK3. It was also discuss on tbt. It will also appear when you reflash the bios but be very carefull on reflashing the bios.

Anybody know where can I get BIOS file for reflashing?
Thnx -
Here is the link to the thread Ohlip was talking about.
You can trust Ohlip, If he says that file is the correct one, it is.. If it is the wrong file, It won't run. Panasonic puts a checkfor the correct machine in all of their files.
Here is the official download page for the CF30 mk3. Click through all the info and you will find the CF30 mk3 Bluetooth BIOS update. It's the file Ohlip is talking about.

I pasted part of that thread here.
On the Panasonic driver site, there is a BIOS Setup Config (Bluetooth) Utility for the CF-19 MK3. Extracted on the HDD, it creates the directory c:\util2\bscbluet
To run the utility, open a command prompt, and run this command:
c:\util2\bscbluet\bscbluet.exe /on
Without this, Bluetooth isn’t mentioned in the BIOS, doesn’t work at all in Windows XP or 7, and fails the onboard diags.
Blair, Is this info in the CF19 and CF30 FAQ's?
I got to go to work........... -
