    Hello all,
I recently reinstalled windows xp sp2 onto a CF-30K Toughbook. I am having trouble trying to find a driver for Qualcomm HS-USB under "other devices." Device Instance ID: USB\VID_04DA&PID_250C\5&3022B096&0&3
It says "This device is not configured correctly. [Code 1]". Any help would be appreciated.
I'm sorry I did not give very much information but whatever other info you need let me know.

If you are trying to get a non-Panasonic WWAN device to run on your CF-30 you will have to find the driver on your service provider or manufacturer's web site. Panasonic only provides driver support for internal cards supplied by them. You might look here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-69999.html

What is your complete model #? That sounds like the Gobi modem. If your CF-30 is equipped with Gobi, you need to download the Panasonic CSA form Panasonic.

    Start here: https://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TCCHomePage

Register, it's free. Then click on Wireless Carrier Software, scroll down to Panasonic Carrier Selection Application (CSA) and click Register and download the CSA Install Pack for Gobi™ and Gobi2000™, also free.

Attached is a screenshot of a Gobi modem in Device Manager.

It was an integrated wireless option (Gobi) that was added when purchased. The information printed on the card is
    IC:2723A-UNDP1
    FCCID: J9CUNDP-1

I tried the site you suggested and it wasn't what I needed. Thank you though.

*****I didn't see the other replies I will answer those in just a sec.

Thank you all for the replies. db I will try your suggestion out and let you know the results. topcop- are those the same downloads that were on the page that Cappy suggested? If so they were not the right ones, but thank you. If not then I will try them if the one db suggests doesn't work.

Yes; I merely added the file names and download links.
I am curious as to why Device Manager identifies the Gobi™ as "HS-USB".

Glad to help. The WWAN drivers cause a lot of confusion. They are never included on the restore discs, AFAIK.
