I am using a CF-30 with a Precision Mounting docking station in my truck that I use for tuning. I'd like to move the docking station from where is it mounted to the extended cab area behind the passenger seat.

I just realized that my CF-30 has bluetooth and have enabled it. I've got a bluetooth keyboard and mouse attached now.

What I'd like to find is an 8 to 10" display that is 12vdc operated to use. The docking station has a vga jack.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

CF-VDL02 is the 12" version, you can even hook up the touch screen to work, takes same charger as your toughbook and the same resolution as you screen. I have one set up on a CF-07 and a M34. There is also a CF-VDL01 version that is touch also. The screen resolution is a max of 800 x 600 and it takes the old style toughbook charger. CF-VDL03 is another model but I am not sure of the differences on it.

If you are wanting something lighter then there are a lot of remote screens in general in just about any size you want.

a little further outline and clarification information will be helpful .

do you need touch capabilities on the external monitor/display ?
if you do not need this capability then the search is for a 12VDC input monitor ... or you could two-step it by using a low powered inverter to run the monitor .

    hmmm ... :
