I'm having a tough time (pun hehe) with this CF-30. The touchscreen does not work and I'm out of ideas.

    Things I tried:
    -Reinstalled OS
    -Reinstalled drivers
    -Reseated connections under keyboard
    -Reseated connections behind monitor

Sometimes I can disable/enable Touchscreen in the bios, but on this one, I don't even see Touchscreen in the bios, jst Touchpad (and disable/enable did nothing).

Any ideas are more than welcome =).

This may be a silly question, but are you sure it has a touchscreen?

    What is the model number?

CF-30CAQAZBM. Not a silly question at all, I just assume that is the issue since it not working after wiping the OS. I figured, maybe there was a bad driver or registry entry and that'd clear it up.

Intel Core Duo L2400 1.66GHz (Centrino), 13.3" Touch XGA, 512MB, 80GB, Intel 802.11a/b/g,WinXP, TPM1.2, Bluetooth, Emissive Backlit keys, No Optical

So, it is supposed to have a touchscreen. I believe the Mk1's had problems with touchscreens. Since it doesn't show in the BIOS, I'd assume it is bad.

Is there anything else you think I could try before declairing it dead?

I found the drive on Panasonic's website. It is called ftseup.exe and installs as Fujitsu Touch Panel (USB) under Add/Remove programs.

If it is not in the BIOS... You either don't have one installed or it is bad. A driver shouldn't make it appear in the BIOS...
