    I have a cf-30 mark ii model number cf30ftsazau with a sierra wireless 5725 air card. I have a verizon account activated with this aircard. Problem is that verizon access manager sees the card but tells me its not "configured" and the activate option is greyed out. Am I missing a driver? Can't figure it out, talked to panny support, and heartlands, their suggestion is "send it in" any help would be appreciated before i send it in. I know lots of you are using this air card. What am i missing?

    Hey... Have you installed both of these files?

    First SWUSBMUX.exe then VZAM_7.2.9_2470a_Panasonic.exe

    Hi Derrick

    Hi I not sure about Vista. Have you tried uninstalling both programs mentioned above and the reinstalling? You would get a performance boost if you dumped vista. Consider loading XP. I think CF-30 MK2 XP restore disc on ebay for under $20.

    Two things here:

    1) The OEM configuration for your Model Number is non-WWAN:

    *Vista COA*
    Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 1.6Ghz (Centrino Duo), 13.3" XGA Touch Screen-1000 nit, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, No Optical Drive, Intel 802.11a/b/g WLAN, No WWAN, Windows XP Pro downgrade, TPM 1.2 Security Chip, Bluetooth

    and;

    2) Has this Sierra Wireless AirPrime MC5725 card actually been used with the Verizon account?

    Thanks for your reply, nobody could give me the "specs" on this model. Did not come up for me on the panny conf page. The person I bought it from didn't know there was a aircard in it and hadn't used one so the org owner which HE got it from must have added it or it came that way. It has the built in antenna for WWan and the sled and sierra card, WWlan enabled in bios, what am i missing. account forWireless card has been set up through verizon but we have never successfully "cofigured" the aircard to get on the net. Still missing some hardware ?

    Thanks to TopCop for his help on this. Just got my CF-30 back from Heartland, it was a bad air card. They had it fixed in a afternoon and back to me the next day. I had been working on it for a week

    everything is right in the universe again !
