Hi! I bought a laptop CF-30C.. mk1 on Ebay auction, installed windows 7, touch screen not working. I installed windows XP SP 3, Update BIOS for XP. Touchscreen driver installed. No calibration. Red cross flashes and freezes, no calibration. What I did wrong? how to check? Touch Screen is defective?
Exterior view of the touch screen is very nice.
    Thanks in advance.

Did you install all the drivers on your CF-30 ? Is this the touchscreen driver you used " tscreen_30_1_d050736.exe [0.88 mb] " ?? In the BIOS , first screen how many hours are on your CF-30 ?

Yes they are interchangeable. If you know anything about Linux then that is another way to test the touchscreen . Run a " Linux live cd ". Myself I have not done this but other members have.
